Veggie Tales Concert

Today was a busy, but fun, day. Nina had a game this morning, followed by a team lunch at Foster's Grille. The season is over next week, so all the kids got a participation trophy today. Nina was proud. We made a pit stop at home to get Lyla a nap, change clothes, etc. then we were off to the Veggie Tales concert tonight.
Things were a little rough when we got there. We had ordered our tickets months ago and had paid the extra to be in the "gold circle" seats so we'd be up close to the stage. Anyway, when we tried to find our seats, they were closed off with a sign that just said "See the reseating table." Not good. Long story short, the stage size had to be changed to accomodate the large veggie costumes, our section of seats was then no longer available for seating, and they had nowhere else for us to sit except for the seats in the way back (they did refund the ticket price difference, but that was a lame consolation). We ended up heading to the balcony where we could see well, and the girls enjoyed watching the show from there. The concert was a lot of fun with tons of kids singing, clapping, and dancing along to their favorite songs. The girls seemed to really enjoy the concert too!
Nina wasn't feeling too photogenic tonight, so she didn't want to be in the picture when Mark took one of me and Lyla. I was told when we came in that I really wasn't supposed to take pictures during the show, but since we got a bum deal with our seats and ended up in the balcony, I figured I'd take the pictures anyway. :)
