First Haircut

This week, I gave Lyla her first haircut. Her hair was getting so long in the back, and we liked it, but the front was so much shorter than the back. So I decided to give her a cut to even it up more, and hopefully now when it grows out, it will grow out a little more even. Nina got a couple inches cut off also. She actually asked me to cut it short - I think it has to do with not liking getting her tangles brushed out. I have a little story I tell her about the tangle family who comes and parties in her hair while she sleeps, and that's why she wakes up with tangles in her hair (because they're doing so much partying in there). Anyway, every day since I've cut her hair, she hasn't had tangles and seems pretty convinced that the tangle family can't party very well in shorter hair!
