It’s been way long since I’ve updated our blog. I’m certain my four blog followers are waiting with anticipation for the next update, so rather than keeping them waiting any longer…let’s catch up.
I took some fall pictures of the girls this year. They are both beautiful girls on the inside and out. We love them so much!
Fast forward a bit to Veteran’s Day, and we enjoyed an awesome performance of the 5th grade students (of which Nina was a part) celebraing Veteran’s Day. I wish I had taken more photos, but I was enjoying the concert so much that I didn’t. They did an amazing job - definitely my favorite Legacy Elementary performance in all our years there. Poppy came and got to do the Honor Walk with all the other veterans in attendance. It was a wonderful morning!
The middle of November was gorgeous. The girls were playing outside, it was warm, and even so warm one afternoon that we walked up to Starbucks without jackets and had cold drinks. I could get used to that!
Unfortunately that didn’t last into Lyla’s last weekend of soccer. The fall season ended with a tournament the weekend before Thanksgiving. It was rainy, cold, and windy! The conditions were not the greatest, but we have really enjoyed this fall season with the girls, our coach, and the families. It has been a good experience for Lyla, and we’re looking forward to the spring season after a nice winter break.
I’ll head to the next post for Thanksgiving...
