Halloween Party 2016

Last weekend was the annual Halloween party at Mousey and Poppy’s house.  It’s a much anticipated night each year, and somehow, Mouse and Pops find a way to keep making it so much fun for all involved.  The food is great (this is just the kids’ food table pictured here), the company is fun, and the kids always have such a great time!
Their first challenge was to find glow in the dark bones scattered all over the field, then they had to bring them back and put their skeleton together.  Following that, they broke off into three teams and created mummy puppies out of toilet paper.  They were very cute!

The trailer ride (a.k.a. a hayride without hay) was next followed by the second annual game of trying to eat the donut off the string without using your hands - always entertaining!

Up next was a game of Chubby Bunny...
…then came the much anticipated magic show courtesty of Madame Vanish and Lucious.  This year, Madame Vanish risked losing top status by handing over most of her show to her assistant, Lucious, who was quite impressive with his magic tricks this year!

Madame Vanish did get the group riled up with the introduction of her new pet - a flying shark!

While topping the magic show is tough, the finale of the party each year is the haunted woods walk followed by the bonfire.

After a scary stop off at the barn, Mark Rumple really scared this group by hiding under the old trailer and swiping their feet with a stick.
Then Mark jumped out from behind a tree, Garland jumped out from hiding in a ditch, and since we were missing Uncle Bo this year, they got off kind of easy after making it past Garland.  They finished at the bonfire, then after everyone had their fill, the night was over, and everyone was exhausted, but much fun was had by all!  We’re so thankful that Mouse and Pops go through all that work each year to make it such a fun evening for their grandaughters and friends!
