Halloween 2014

This year for Halloween, we had a wild black cat and a honey badger.  Things were pretty fierce around here.  The wild black cat I was pretty comfortable with helping to pull off, but Lyla’s request to be a honey badger was a little daunting.  However, with countless hot glue sticks and several trips to the fabric store, I think we ended up with a very cute honey badger this year!

The weather was great for trick or treating, so after some pizza with neighbors, the girls were more than ready to start heading out to collect candy.  As always, they got tons of candy and had a good time.  However, our little honey badger did tire out early.  The first graders had their field trip to the zoo on Friday, so Lyla walked around all day at the zoo, came home wound up for trick-or-treating, and the day finally caught up with her.  She fatigued after about an hour of walking around, so I walked back with her and she helped hand out candy while Nina, Mark, and Cayenne stayed out.    It was a fun Halloween!
