In late June of this past summer, we took a trip to Emerald Isle, NC for the week. We had never been there before but had heard good things, so we booked a house that would accommodate us and a friend each for the girls. We got a notification about a month out from out vacation that the owners of the house we had rented decided to sell the house immediately (therefore canceling all the reservations for the summer). We were so upset and thought our trip was going to be down the tubes, but we found a house at the last minute that could accommodate us, and it all ended up working out great!
We had beautiful, sunny weather every day we were there and spent each day out on the beach, playing in the waves, walking, playing paddleball, and relaxing.
The four girls had a great time together, and our two decided afterwards that it was one of their favorite vacations so far. We loved the clear green water of Emerald Isle, the beautiful beaches, and the layed back atmosphere. I think it’s safe to say we’ll definitely be back!
