Lyla Turns 13!!!

It’s hard to believe, but our baby is a teenager!  I know it’s cliché to say “where has the time gone” but I honestly feel that.  I remember when we brought Lyla home from the hospital like it was a few short years ago, and now she’s a teenager.  Right now in life, she loves coffee drinks, making smoothies, horses, her family, Cayenne, soccer, candy, and creating her own dance routines in the basement.  She’s got a good mind for building things, she’s got a great sense of humor, and she’s a beautiful girl on the inside and out! 

She woke up on her birthday to Dunkin’ Donuts and got to open one of her presents, then we waited on the rest of the festivities until the evening.  Her dinner choice was burgers and fries from Blue Ridge Grill and red velvet cake.  As is tradition, we also got to celebrate with Bo since he and Lyla share birthdays.  We all had a great dinner then had some cake and presents.  In the slew of March birthdays, it’s always a joy to celebrate Bo and Lyla together.  They are both so loved and so special to our families, and we always love to have the opportunity to celebrate them together on their birthday.
