…so the pup now looks for sunny spots on the carpet to take a nap. She also looks for any opportunity to get into the girls’ rooms and snuggle under the covers. If Cayenne had her way, I think she’d be sleeping with Nina or Lyla every night. Since it will be awhile before that happens, we sometimes let Cayenne come into Nina’s room before school and “help” wake her up. It definitely helps Nina get up in a happier mood for school, but the added distraction definitely doesn’t help in getting out of the house faster. Who would want to get up and leave for school with that little puppy wanting to snuggle?
I think the pup needs a winter coat plus a warm bed with Nina....do we need to have a vote on this? mouse
ReplyDeleteWinter coats are for shih tzus not for athletic and intelligent bird dogs (no offense to Cobi - may she rest in peace in her little sweater), but I'd love to test the idea of a sleeping buddy. Perhaps we can give it a test run with the grandparents over Thanksgiving??? I know they wouldn't turn away their dear sweet granddog after their great idea that she needs a nice warm bed and a companion to sleep with...
