Victory Complete

Yesterday morning was Mark’s second, and final, exam that he needed to pass to officially start his new line of work.  And, yes, he passed!  We were all very excited to have this big milestone behind us, and we were proud of Mark that all his hard work and studying over the past few weeks really paid off.  As is tradition in the Simpson house, when we need to celebrate, we get donuts.  After getting the call from Mark, the girls and I buzzed over to our neighborhood grocery store for some donuts.  The girls were either really exited about their dad passing the test or really excited about the donuts because the top literally got ripped off the donut box as soon as Mark walked in the door.  I think we were all very happy!

Later that night, my parents came over to babysit the girls while Mark and I went out to dinner to celebrate.  We had a great evening out, and we felt a big sense of relief that the exams were over and a confidence in moving forward with this new journey.
