Nina enjoyed the morning watching the Wonder Pets with Mark and working on her cooking skills. She also made sure to give her dad plenty of kisses before he left today for Mexico.
For those friends and family we don't get to see very often, we hope you enjoy keeping track of what we're up to! You can click on any picture to see it bigger, and you can leave a comment to contact us. Enjoy!

Cox Farms Fall Festival
Shenley and I took the girls to a great fall festival today. Emme and Nina got to see lots of animals, dance to a band, go down some really big slides, and enjoy tons more activities the festival had to offer. One of the funnier parts of the day was visiting the "goat village" where Shenley got accosted by the goats. The picture doesn't do it justice, but she was mobbed by hungry goats who wanted the feed cones she had. By the time we left, the girls (that means all of us) were covered in dirt, sweaty, and very tired, but it was lots of fun!

Reston Zoo
Today we decided to take our little animal lover over to the Reston Zoo. Being a big fan of the National Zoo, I thought we would be disappointed with the animal selection, but it was a great hands on experience, complete with feeding sheep and goats from a bottle, hand feeding all the animals food, and getting up close and personal to some really unique animals on a wagon ride. We had a really great time!

Sad Morning
We had to take Nina to get a couple vials of blood taken this morning for some allergy testing. It was a very sad morning. Even after lots of extra TLC, a mid-day bottle (which she's never allowed to have), and some Elmo, she still wasn't too happy about the events of the morning and was particularly unhappy with the little arm bandage they gave her. I'm sure she'll be back to her old self soon, but in the meantime, she's milking this experience for all its worth!

Stroller Girl
Since borrowing a little stroller from Emme, Nina has really enjoyed taking all of her favorite friends for stoller rides. It just got a bit complicated when she tried to stack the soccer ball and the big pink ball in the stroller. However, the empty basement has been the perfect place to practice the stroller pushing and turning technique!
