More Video

With Mark home, it's a lot easier for Nina to practice her walking. Instead of me just setting her arms length away, she can now walk back and forth between the two of us. Getting it on camera is still a bit of a challenge, but here are two short videos. The most she's gone so far without falling is 14 steps, but she's getting more confident by the day.

A Balloon of My Own

Nina was very excited today when she got a balloon of her own at Trader Joe's. She gave it kisses, swat it around, and generally got a lot of fun out of a simple balloon!

It Was a Big Day...

Yesterday was a big day for Nina. She turned 9 months old, she got to see her dad after 2 1/2 weeks, we went out to my mom and dad's to celebrate Bo's birthday and she got to play with Emme and see Cobi. It was a very good day!

9 Months Old

Nina turned nine months old yesterday. We seem to get many comments about her hair these days. We try to keep it in order, but sometimes it doesn't cooperate!!

Fun With Friends

After three days of very little interaction with the outside world (due to the lovely winter storm), Nina and I were so happy to visit the Clarkes house for dinner. Nina loves hanging with Auntie Meg and Uncle Mike, and she also discovered that she has a new buddy in Lucy, the dog. These are some pictures that Meg took for us.

Weekend Visits

Nina and I enjoyed some good visits this weekend. On Friday, my mom came over and took us out to dinner and spent the night. Then on Saturday, Nina and I drove up to New Jersey to visit Paula and Kristin. Nina had a lot of fun climbing on the exercise ball and sitting in blankets with Paula and Kristin.

Super Bowl Fun

Going over to Auntie Shen and Uncle Garland's house for Super Bowl meant big fun for Nina. She got to play in Emme's new play room, try out cool toys, and "chase around" her favorite playmate, Emme.

Daddy's Girl

Nina and Mark will certainly miss eachother while Mark is away for preseason. He hopes to watch her grow and change as much as possible through our webcams! They did get some cute pictures together before he left.

Can I Go?

I think Nina wants to go with Mark on his pre-season trip tomorrow. She definitely would fit in the travel bag though!

Bucket Head

The older Nina gets, the more we see her silly side. She did decide, however, that she had enough of the bucket on her head and threw it to the ground with quite a bit of determination.
