All By Myself

Nina has discovered the fun of doing things all by herself. She likes trying to feed herself with the spoon, hold a cup or bottle when drinking, and standing all by herself is her latest fun thing to do.

6 Months Old

Nina turned six months old on Thanksgiving, and unfortunatley, she wasn't feeling very well that day. However, we certainly thought how we had her to be thankful for this year.

Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving down at Hartfield with the family this year. Nina got to spend some time with her great grandparents, Pappy Bill and Grandma Bette, her grandparents, her cousin, aunt, two uncles, and Cobi - the dog. The food was fantastic (as you can see, Cobi loved the turkey) and the time with family was great.

Family Time

While Nina was content being held, Emme (who happened to be missing some clothing) was more interested in the attention of Uncle Bo, who is home for Thanksgiving.

Pretty in Pink

I guess little girls can never wear too much pink. Nina loves trying to chew on her feet - even when she's wearing shoes!

All Bundled Up

This post is a little out of order. It actually happened on Sunday, but I forgot to post the pictures. I thought Nina looked so funny all bundled up in her winter weather gear for DC United's last game of the season. There's no way she'll be cold this winter (or mistaken for a boy)! Here she is tailgating with some of DC United's fans, the Screaming Eagles.

Big Girl

While visiting Grandma, Nina started sitting up on her own.

Over the River and Through the Woods...

...to Grandmother's house we went! Shenley and I drove up to Pennsylvania this week to take Nina and Emme to visit our Grandma Smith (their great grandmother). It was the first time that Gram got to see Nina, so that was very exciting. The girls really entertained Gram, and Shen and I survived the 5+ hour trip in the car with the little ones!!!

More Halloween

When we were visiting our friends, Kevin and Pam, Nina got her picture taken with Scout who was dressed up as a very cute bumblebee. We also got to see Kevin and Pam's neighbor's house who really did an awesome job decorating for Halloween. Our little chili pepper had a fun evening, but she was "cooked" by the time we got home.

Happy Halloween!

Nina was a chili pepper this year for Halloween. She didn't go around to collect candy, but we visited a few friends, and she got to show off her costume.
